Every visitor stops at the desk for registration. On busy days staff lose track and patients experience stress.
Some wards are freely accessible, others strictly secured. Manual enforcement is unreliable and labour-intensive.
When incidents or complaints occur, reconstruction is impossible. Handwritten visitor books are illegible and incomplete.
Revtek automates visitor registration and access management for care institutions. GDPR-compliant, time-limited and fully auditable.
Visitors receive a time-limited QR code via WhatsApp or email. Valid only during the visit window.
Visitor data processed solely for access management and automatically deleted afterwards.
Nursing and support staff park automatically by licence plate. No passes to lose.
Who was present when, on which ward. Exportable for compliance and quality reports.
All data processed in European data centres. Data Processing Agreement available.
Configure per ward who has access and when. Volunteers, contractors and suppliers managed separately.
Visiting hours, ward routes, parking info: enter it once. Visitors ask questions via WhatsApp and get an instant answer. Less pressure on reception, more calm in the environment.
Weekly informal carer or regular supplier? Register a recurring time slot once. Access is created automatically every time, with no action required from reception.
A care home, rehabilitation centre or hospital receives visitors every day who are hard to fit into a single procedure. Family arrive at different times, a physiotherapist comes every Tuesday and a supplier turns up at the barrier unannounced. Revtek gives each of these groups its own way to register, so reception only deals with the exceptions.
The ward or a named contact registers the visit with licence plate, name and time window. Family can also register themselves through a link the facility shares, for example on its website or in a newsletter. The visitor enters their own plate and nobody on the ward has to do anything. On arrival the barrier opens on the plate.
A physiotherapist who comes every week, a chiropodist who visits every fortnight or a carer with a fixed afternoon is set up once as a recurring booking: weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The system creates each visit itself. If the time slot is full, it offers an alternative.
Pharmacy deliveries, the laundry service and engineers working on the building get their own group with its own capacity. When someone arrives at the barrier without a booking, reception or security see the live camera feed and let that visitor in manually.
The car park of a care facility serves groups with different needs. Staff work in shifts and need a space at every shift change. Visitors stay for an hour or an afternoon. Patients with an appointment for treatment or a check-up arrive at a set time and often have limited mobility. Revtek divides capacity per group and counts live how many spaces each group is using.
Licence plate recognition works with existing cameras from Axis, Hikvision, Bosch, Hanwha and Dahua, among others. Processing runs on a device on site, so the barrier keeps working if the internet connection drops. A dirty or misread plate is still recognised when one character is off.
Staff plates sit in the staff group, which has its own number of spaces. Someone starting the night shift drives straight in without a pass, and visitors cannot fill those spaces.
Visits and appointments get a time window. If you charge for parking, visitors pay through Mollie by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with bracket pricing and a daily maximum. Discount codes let you offer a lower rate to, for example, the family of long-stay patients.
A car park at the main entrance, a staff car park behind the building and a multi-storey are managed as separate zones in one system. Screens at the entrance show live how many spaces are free.
Visiting hours, the route to a ward and the parking rules go into the knowledge base once. Visitors and staff ask their question on WhatsApp and get an answer straight away, with no app to install.
Revtek inspects the barriers, cameras and network on site and carries out installation and servicing itself, in Greater London, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
You set up the groups, such as staff, visitors and suppliers, how many spaces each group gets and how the site is divided into zones.
Wards register visits with plate, name and time window, also via WhatsApp. Family register themselves through the booking link and regular visitors get a recurring booking.
The camera reads the plate and the barrier opens within the time window. Webhooks (visitor.arrived and visitor.departed) notify other systems on arrival and departure.
A licence plate is personal data, and on the site of a care facility a visit can reveal something about the health of a relative. Revtek therefore processes plates only for access and visitor management. Plate snapshots are deleted automatically after seven days.
Recognition runs on a device on site. The arrangements a facility should put in place, such as signage at the entrance and a data processing agreement, are covered in ANPR on your car park and the GDPR.
For doors, lifts and secure wards, Revtek integrates with Paxton Net2, Paxton10 and Salto KS. Access for visitors, staff and suppliers to both the car park and the building is then managed from one system.
