One panel at the entrance replaces the ageing intercom. The visitor rings, the resident sees on WhatsApp who is there and opens the door, at home or away. No handsets in the flats, no new wiring through the building.

A failed handset means searching second-hand sites or a flat that no longer hears the bell. The manufacturer has moved on and the installer has no stock left.
A conventional replacement needs an engineer in every flat, new cabling through the risers and a residents' vote on a large sum. So it gets postponed year after year.
Residents are out during the day. Parcels go back to the depot, the carer rings three neighbours, and the main door is wedged open because that is easier.
The panel at the entrance has a camera and a list of flats. The visitor picks a flat and rings. The resident receives a photo on WhatsApp of who is there, can take a short video call, and opens the door with a single reply. Every opening is recorded in the building's log against the flat number.
If your building already uses a Paxton or Salto installation for the car park or the entrance, the panel drives that. If there is only an electric strike, we connect to it.
The resident sees who is there before the door opens. A short video call is available if the visitor is unfamiliar.
At home, at the office or on holiday: the message reaches the resident's phone and the door opens with one reply.
The resident creates a code in advance for a courier, a carer or house guests, valid within a time window. It expires by itself afterwards.
When the bell rang, who opened, with which code. After an incident the managing agent has a record instead of a guess.
Residents who prefer not to use WhatsApp come in as they always have. The panel replaces the intercom, not the key.
There is no continuous recording of the entrance. An image is captured at the moment of ringing and goes only to the flat being called. The building sets the retention period.
Schuurman Technology, our permanent installation partner, fits the panel and the door release and connects them to the Revtek platform. Because no handsets are needed, nobody has to enter the flats, and the existing intercom keeps working until the moment of switch-over.
Maintenance afterwards falls under the service level the building chooses, with response times per territory.
We look at the current intercom, the door release or strike, the power supply and the distance to the building's network.
One price for panel, fitting, connection and commissioning, in a form the board can put to the residents' meeting.
Panel, door release and network connection are fitted in a single day. The old intercom keeps working until switch-over.
Every flat receives a sign-up link. Whoever signs up receives calls on WhatsApp from that moment. Whoever does not, uses the key.
